Strength and Conditioning Specialist // American International College Head Strength Coach
In leadership, there are no words more important than trust. In any organization, trust must be developed among every member of the team if success is going to be achieved.
— Mike Krzyzewski
Having a background in Athletic Training has allowed me to see movement through a different lens. Being able to dissect imbalances in movement and finding ways to aid in decreasing them has allowed me to be a more well-rounded coach in the weight room.
I am a firm believer in form and function before loading a movement. Once an athlete or client can perform a movement correctly and consistently then they are ready to add an external load. You must build a foundation before you can put a house on it.
I have had experience working with collegiate and high school athletes both in the weight room and in the athletic training facility. My goal is to instill a healthy lifestyle in my athletes and clients in hopes of impacting their life after they are under my guidance.
Seeing my athletes and clients succeed in whatever their sport or personal goals are is more than worth it. If they leave the facility in a positive mood after a training session then I know I have done my job.
