Continuum Performance

ACADEMY

Our mission is to deliver next level training and unparalleled coaching by shaping athletes to be their very best. Our approach allows us to dedicate our resources to the needs of the strength program and transform the athlete’s ability to perform at a high level.

Our strength program gives the athletes an introduction to learn the range of motion of each movement before moving on to the next level. Controlling one's body is important and we utilize each movement and educate the athletes on the importance of that movement. Speed and agility allow athletes to gain optimal improvement for their athlete prowess. Agility is a key asset among youth athletes enhancing the characteristics necessary for changing direction at high speed and under control. Acceleration and deceleration are critical for youth athletes to understand and to translate it into their respected sport, safely.

Life Skills

  • It is important for the athletes to learn life skills to enhance their ability as a human. Each life skill is taught through activities with Graduated Student Athletic Counselors from Springfield College. Athletic Counselors not only enhance the athlete’s performance physically, but also socially and academically.

  • Every week the athletes will be introduced to a new "Life Skill" and the focus of the session and week is to interweave and educate these young minds on how these skills will not only affect them as an athlete physically but as a student, sibling, friend, community member and human-being.

  • The opportunity to work with athletic counselors is crucial for these athletes during this crazy time. With athletes losing their seasons, school being hybrid, and losing physical activity with friends, CPC is an environment where the athletes can feel safe and expand their knowledge with the use of life skills.

Nutrition

  • CPC feels that one of the most important parts of a healthy lifestyle is proper nutrition. The purpose of our nutrition program is to establish healthy habits from an early age that our athletes will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

  • A healthy diet is the foundation upon which a healthy life is built. Proper nutrition helps athletes recover from workouts or injuries, gives them more energy, keeps them focused, and allows them to grow to their full potential.

  • Monthly weekend seminars as well as continual one-on-one meetings will help bring the whole family together in the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. Having your loved ones involved will help with the overall success of the program and will benefit everyone.
