Coaching individuals to experience their potential, and then some, within the realm of injury prevention is the root of everything I do. This path began for me as a three-sport athlete growing up being coached by my father. Average was never a word in our vocabulary, not in the sense of pressure to succeed, but to always try your best and never settle for anything. This carried with me throughout my childhood into my everyday life today.

Having a love for sports performance led me to pursue degrees in college that would enhance my knowledge of the human body and encapsulate myself with a future where I was confident I could help others succeed. I also had a deep love for the weight room, always pushing myself to be the strongest that I could be. To not only fit into the sports realm I was attempting to be a part of, but also to prepare my body for anything it might come across in the world we live in. These experiences led me to acquire the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, which only increased my knowledge and broadened my horizons for coaching possibilities. I knew the sports field would not be my home forever, but if I could help someone achieve their goals, then that would become my new haven.

After completing my degrees and certification, I began my coaching career at Avon Old Farms School for boys in Avon, CT. I developed their first strength and conditioning program, and guided numerous young men to achieve their dream of playing division one sports. Alongside this, I trained the active population out of a physical therapy clinic to make the process of rehab back to every day activity that much easier for each patient. These experiences both showed me the beauty and detriment that exercise, or lack there of, can do to the body. This only affirmed my desire to help others understand the countless benefits that a well structured and challenging training program can do for them while at the gym, and throughout their everyday lives.

My life is full—family, friends, animals, and training. Whether it’s time at the kitchen table surrounded by family, a great lifting session, a rewarding glass of whiskey, or quality time with my dogs and significant other, I’m happy. Never stop moving forward. Never lose sight of your inner self. And bring the intensity and passion of success to everything you do.

Expertise

I feel like every day I find something to improve upon. I expertise in exploiting muscular imbalances and strength weaknesses. I hear far too often "I can't do that" followed by "wow, I am shocked I am capable of that", and that is what I live for.

Philosophy

People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you are. - Theodore Roosevelt

STRENGTHS

My strengths include, but are not limited to, bringing energy to every session that I am a part of. I may be sarcastic and goofy, but I am very goal oriented and never believe "never" is possible. Together, we will challenge the body's threshold and motivate each other to always find a new goal to conquer.

Motivation

The success of others is what motivates me to be the best version of myself, and to bring my absolute best to every client/class. Nothing does my mind, body and soul better than seeing others succeed, which in turn makes me feel successful.
