Anti-Inflammatory
Is it okay to take an anti-inflammatory before you workout

Do: ALWAYS be in communication with a healthcare professional on medicine to avoid complications and ensure it's ok for you. Yes, taking something here and there is ok, but really not something that you should have in your gym bag. If inflammation following exercise is persistent, we need to take a closer look at your movement patterns and/or total volume of exercise.

Don't: Rely on these. Even though they may be "over the counter," they need to be processed by the body, adding a strain to your liver and kidneys. These also have a HUGE effect on our gut flora. Intestinal health is something we are all about at CPC, so we do advise using these "gingerly.”
