Working Out in the Heat
It’s so important to adjust your workouts to account for heat and humidity

Do: Still move everyday, just be smart. The more intense the exercise session, the greater the byproduct of heat will be. So, in these VERY hot and humid conditions, you may not achieve the same output you thought OR your heart rate is a lot higher at lower intensities. That is OK! Focus on celebrating movement and doing what you enjoy.

Don’t: Continue to push if you feel nauseous, faint or dizzy. Make sure that you’re still sweating and take frequent hydration breaks. Please avoid exercising at the most intensely hot part of the day and replace those electrolytes.

Restoring your bodies hydration can take a LONG time. Please know what your workout YESTERDAY could still be affecting your workout, mental focus and energy level TODAY.
